After a three-week break, the boys are back in town and miserable as hell! Why would people want to corn hole Mike in Oklahoma? How many Thank Yous can Mike Bocchetti say on the show tonight? Shuli’s sick, and he’s going to share his mucus-filled anger with you about his adventures on the 7 train. Mark tells a story that goes nowhere while waving to chicks walking by the studio (hey, you gotta multitask). Mike plays some tape from the road of a baby screaming. Jeff Furlotte calls in with the Miserable Men Question of the Week: where is the strangest place you’ve ever jacked off, and have you ever been caught? Learn these disgusting truths and more directly from our miserable heroes!

Believe it or not, we’re in the home stretch for the Miserable Men show, only 18 more shows to go after this one! All these years later, there’s STILL nothing on the radio that’s better to listen to on a Sunday night! Join Shuli, Mike and Mark as they weave their magical misery for us. Mike hits a home run with “Camelot,” ripping on Mark for playing “Kingdoms of Camelot” instead of engaging in adult activities. Ass Napkin Ed calls in as well. Shuli can’t even get his special guests up to the studio because Sirius is THAT dysfunctional. (eventually, it works out) Director/writer/producer Huck Botko visits, as well as The Champ, Judah Freidlander. Misery abounds on this emotional show!

Misery. Pain. Anger. Life. Share it with the Miserable Men every Sunday! Ass Napkin Ed is in studio with Shuli (who I’m pretty sure is a little baked), Mike (who I’m pretty sure is close to divorce) and Mark (who I’m pretty sure is a creepy fuck) as we embark on our miserable journey today!

Shuli, Mike and Mark are on hand for today’s magical misery tour along with Jeff Furlotte, who takes an early swipe at Mike with a parody song before turning his attention to Mark. Are tight pants a fashion faux pas? Where does Speech Impediment Man change his clothes? Shuli’s wife’s Facebook page becomes a war zone, and Shuli’s not happy about it. Hi-Pitch Mike drops by the studio to discuss all things gay for National Coming Out Day. They replay the famous call where Mike and Mark have a “fight” in-studio, while caller/guest Suzanne Barlow stands by in horror while trying to promote her book. It’s insanity on today’s show!

The boys are awash in misery as they begin the show this week! Mike is trapped at kids’ birthday parties, and yes, he fought - and lost - his Marital Fight Of The Week, while learning that Woman Speak is a foreign language. Shuli hates Nancy Grace, and a woman sits on - and kills - her husband. Jeff Furlotte calls in with his “What Would The Miserable Men Do” segment: If someone offered you enough money for you and your entire family to be set for life, but you would have to be permanently paralyzed from the neck down, would you take the money? Lisa Lampanelli and her then-husband Jimmy Big Balls stop in-studio, and much more on this miserable show!
10-24-2010
It’s that time again! Join Shuli, Mike and Mark for four hours of some of the best radio ever, the Miserable Men Show! Mike starts things off with his Marital Fight Of The Week. If that’s not enough to show you that your life doesn’t suck so badly, consider some tape of a smelly, drunken Ass Napkin Ed, or perhaps, an unfunny live call-in from a smelly, relatively sober Ass Napkin Ed? Special guest: director / producer / writer Huck Botko.

It’s the Miserable Men Halloween episode! Join Scary Shuli dressed as Dorothy, Mortifying Mike dressed as the Scarecrow, and Monster Mark dressed as the Cowardly Lion as they take us deep into the dark, scary, yet oddly familiar miserable night! Lenny from Long Island is back after his appearance last week, and Mike Bocchetti stops in the studio. Let the fuckery begin on this, one of Shuli’s favorite episodes of all time!

Shuli, Mike, and Mark start the show off with some miserable 1980s synth-pop from Rocky IV as the show hurtles toward its ultimate demise in a few months which, ironically, causes us GREAT misery, especially us married guys who now have no excuse to slip away for four hours on a Sunday night! Speaking of marital misery, the cause of Mike’s Marital Fight of the Week is that he is a Neanderthal with no table manners. Jeff Furlotte calls in and asks his Question Of The Week and Dilemma Of The Week. Shuli goes off on a Lamb Of God-fueled rant. Comedian Rob Cantrell stops in-studio. Shuli tells a great story about annoying Facebook notifications at 12:30 in the morning, and how thick some people (CWB) can be. There's nothing funnier than a way pissed-off Shuli, and when CWB calls in, that's exactly what we get. Enjoy this very funny show!

More horrible 80’s techno-pop, number one bullshit movie music start off the show, ensuring misery throughout the land! Shuli, Mike and Lord Mark of Kingdoms of Camelot are back this week to bring the pain. Little Mikey contributes a couple of song parodies, Shuli’s Facebook purge continues, and he asks the question: “What is your #1 cause of misery?” Shuli talks Gary’s famous first pitch. A caller, defending his girl, smashed up a guy in a bar who grabbed his girlfriend’s ass, but when they got back home, she called the cops on HIM! Yucko gets a gaming intervention. Mark is WAY too into Kingdoms of Camelot, and is forced to leave his alliance. Lhenny sticks his two cents in regarding his former Lord Mark, and the Leeeeeeroy Jenkins clip makes an appearance. Drama everywhere on this caller-driven show.

You guys know the drill: Shuli, Mike, and Mark are here to pour comedy salt into your wounds. Call in and they’ll make fun of you. Don’t call in? They’ll turn on each other, like hungry dogs. Don’t believe me? Listen to Shuli and Mike get on Mark about Kingdoms of Camelot this week. It’s friggin’ hilarious. Yucko has a couple of great voicemails. Ass Napkin Ed Comedy Hour! Mike Bocchetti is on hand! If your partner has something that’s “odd” in mind, but it totally turns them on, would you still do it for them? It’s a great question that fuels a lot of the show.

ONLY NOINE SHOWS LEFT, so make sure you join Shuli, Mike and Mark - the last of a crying breed - before it’s too late! Shuli and Mark eat Mickey D’s. It’s the post-Thanksgiving show, and nobody’s thankful for anything! Shuli’s having legal problems, Mike is (still) fighting with his wife, and Mark is a Jets fan. More Kingdoms of Camelot peppered in. Jeff Furlotte calls in with his Question Of The Week. Ass Napkin Ed calls in with his Ass Napkin Comedy Hour (it’s shorter than that, but feels endless…). Name Shuli’s DVD. Mark cuts Shuli's disgusting toenails. Great calls on this show!

“Eeeeeveryone’s watching, to see what you will do. Everyone’s looking at you.” Part 2 of the weekend you’ve been working for is here, and so are Shuli, Mike and Mark, our beloved Miserable Men! We begin with Mike Morse’s Marital Fight Of The Week. Even with his wife away, he managed to pull together a fight at the very last minute. Mark introduces us to his live-in mouse, Mr. Jingles, and realizes that having a mouse for a houseguest has some advantages. Don’t ask Shuli for a cigarette, btw. Can Yucko beat Shuli’s wife in Call of Duty? And we’re off! Enjoy this funny show!

Barry White opening music? OH NO YOU DIDN’T! Yes they did! Welcome to the Miserable Men Show, baby! Lay right down here next to me. Closer. Oh baby! Give it up. Ain’t no use. I can’t help myself if I wanted to! Deeper and deeper! Ok, I better stop before Byrnes splooges all over our group. Join Shuli, Mike and Mark for high misery as we head toward the end of this great show’s run. Of course, Mike had a Marital Fight Of The Week, continuing his cycle of fight, bickering, fight, bickering, fight. (Spoiler alert: they finally give up this nonsense.) Do Jews celebrate Christmas? Sure they do, and Shuli has a story for us! The great Al Rosenberg calls in, and reminds me why we miss him so much! All this and much more!

It's a very special, very funny pre-Christmas show on Miserable Men with Shuli, Mike, and Mark, joined in-studio by Ronnie "The Limo Driver" Mund!
